 Developing Mastery
Part II: Diploma in Coaching
Coaching Development’s Developing Mastery provides rigorous continuing professional development for trained, practising coaches. It offers participants an opportunity to continue and deepen their learning in a structured, challenging and rewarding environment.
The course forms Part ll of the Diploma in Coaching and is thus open to those who have completed Coaching Development’s Professional Coaching Skills course (Part I of the Diploma in Coaching). (It is also a key part of the Continuing Professional Development element of Coaching Development’s Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching course.)
Developing Mastery runs over a period of 8 months. From March 2012 it will be available both as a distance and face-to face-programme.
The Programme
Participants will benefit from:
- Supervision to encourage and support the ongoing development of reflective, informed and ethical professional coaching practices
- Observed coaching sessions providing clean, objective, practical feedback from selected qualified coaches for refining and extending coaching skills
- Personal coaching to support learning on this programme (distance Diploma in Coaching course only)
- Self-managing skills development practice groups with other advanced practitioners
- A comprehensive practical and theoretical assessment process based on the ICF’s PCC-level examination requirements.
Successful completion of the full Diploma in Coaching course (Part I Professional Coaching Skills and Part II Developing Mastery) fulfils all training and examination requirements for the ICF’s ACC and PCC credentials. (The level of credential participants can apply for depends on the number of client coaching hours completed – 100 and 750 hours respectively.)
