Supervision Training 'Taster Evening'

Coaching supervision -
what is it and why do we need and value it?

» What makes a great coach vs a good coach?

» How do we ensure all those coaching hours move a coach from being capable to being extraordinary?

» How do we help coaches to use their coaching hours to really grow in capability, not simply to embed poor habits?

» How do we help coaches recognise when the personal (their stuff) is intruding into the professional (the client's space)?

We believe coaching supervision is the key.  It’s about working with the coach to develop a more mature and professional practice, secure in the knowledge that they are working ethically and providing security for both themselves and the client.

Coaching Development runs regular training programmes for those wishing to take on the critical role of coaching supervisor. Our next one begins in April 2008.

If you are interested in finding out more about our training programme, please feel free to attend a ‘taster’ evening on Monday 29th October 2007, 5.30pm at the Hubworking Centre, close to Liverpool Street Station in central London.

Trudi Newton and Hilary Cochrane, the co-trainers of the programme, will be exploring the questions above and talking about how supervision has developed within the Coaching Development’s community.  From 7pm to 8pm we will be available to talk with people who might want to train as supervisors through our model of coaching.

All are welcome; there will be no charge for the evening.
