| Having trained as a coach three
years ago and developed my business very successfully from career coaching
through to corporate and executive coaching, I began to question whether
I had lost the true essence of my coaching. ‘Content’ often got in
the way and it was easy to adopt a mentoring style, in fact it was often
what clients wanted and they also started asking for training and consultancy.
Coaching is my passion. I am
happy to provide the other services but I felt the need to distinguish
them from the powerful experience of coaching. I also wanted to be
part of the coaching community, its standards, thinking and progression.
The Coaching Development programme
has really satisfied what I was looking for. Unlike my initial training,
it is an experiential course providing valuable observation and feedback.
It closely aligns itself with the competencies of the ICF and draws upon
NLP and TA techniques in a coaching context. It has enabled me to
drill down and consolidate all the skills and expertise I have already
developed but with far greater depth and understanding.
Phil and Colin deliver the course
with passion, conviction and modesty and I feel it is a privilege to be
taught by them and to draw upon their phenomenal expertise and experience.
