| If you are looking for training
and a professional qualification that has some rigour to it, then I can
recommend the Coaching Development course unreservedly. I was amazed
at how much I learned about myself and how much my coaching skills developed,
even after having done another ICF-accredited course.
By contrast with earlier training,
I found the Coaching Development course to be much more rigorous in helping
me to establish and manage the coaching process to serve clients better,
and more helpful in suggesting alternative psychological models that may
help me to identify where a client is at any stage in the relationship.
The work in between modules was also
significant in extending my awareness of different approaches to coaching
and cementing my learning.
What I also found really helpful
was the observation of my coaching (several times over the programme) by
Phil or Colin (the trainers), and the individual feedback I got on my "growing
edge" and the standard I had achieved in terms of ICF accreditation.
This was a major benefit in developing my skills and confidence
