Coaching the Future of Global Industry for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Coaching Development and International Mozaik

Coaching Development is proud to host International Mozaik’s Mastery in Business Coaching Programme, brought to the UK for the first time in 2011. The MBCP collaboration has arisen from several years of mutual respect and connection between the leaders of Coaching Development and International Mozaik – two of the most highly respected and successful providers of accredited coach training programmes in and beyond Europe.

Coaching complex business environments
Our world is in a process of rapid and global change. Internationally, businesses operate in fast-changing environments of increasing complexity and ambiguity, particularly in relation to the many cross-cultural aspects of organisations and the diversity of the teams within them. Contexts of such change and complexity require a new and more profound awareness of innovative approaches to working together in organisations. Such awareness is the key that leads to success in the diverse business context of the current workplace and the global market.

These issues, and these contexts, are typically areas where coaching is highly relevant. International MOZAIK has developed a comprehensive coaching approach (the Mastery in Business Coaching Programme or MBCP) which effectively transforms collective ways of thinking, being and acting. The MBCP concentrates on advanced coaching approaches that create sustainable performance and develop new knowledge and skills within an increasingly cross-cultural corporate environment. Mastering culturally relevant coaching skills which recognise, honour, and empower diversity will be an essential component of organisational and executive coaching in the future.

Ideal participants
This programme is for coaches who have completed initial coach training, have current coaching clients (preferably at senior levels) within organisations, and seek an advanced level of skill in executive, team and organisational coaching with a specialisation in coaching diverse business systems. This programme is also for the coach who wishes to move his/her skill set from a professional to a masterful level.

Prerequisites
Prospective participants will take part in a preliminary orientation interview to clarify their readiness for the programme.

Training team
The programme will be led by Master Certified Coach Danièle Darmouni (Founder of International Mozaik and primary creator of the MBCP), in partnership with four of Mozaik’s most experienced and gifted trainers: Sabine Henrichfreise (MCC), Margaret Krigbaum (MCC), Laurent Oddoux (PCC) and Carole Marchandet (MCC). Philip Brew (MCC) and Colin Brett (PCC) will assist in facilitating the programme throughout.

Modular structure
The programme is delivered in 9 modules across a period of 12 months. The complete programme includes:

  • 30 days (240 hours) of face-to-face training (9 modules of 3 or 4 days per module). Each day begins at 9.00 am and finishes by 6.00 pm.
  • Between-module work: Between each module students will put into practice with their organisational coaching clients what they are learning in the programme. Within their peer group(s) they will arrange regular working meetings, both in person (one day or two half-days) and via telephone/Skype. Some reading and written assignments will be included.
Training venues
In keeping with its international nature, during the course of the programme the training will move between two main venues: London and Paris. Module 5 will be a residential ‘retreat’ held in Mazille in Bourgogne in the heart of France.

Experiential learning: creating a learning network team
The learning cycle is highly experiential. The participants create learning teams, and through them experience the cycles of change that all teams go through. In addition, participants are invited to bring professional situations for supervision sessions through which everyone can experience and practice their developing skills. This methodology, along with the new coaching skills and tools taught throughout the programme, creates a deep understanding of, and a masterful competence in, coaching complex business environments.

Programme goals
The programme offers a journey to masterful coaching which allows the coach and the coaching process to help companies, their teams, and their executives to create sustainable and powerful learning and action systems, particularly in a global or culturally diverse environment.

The coach graduating from the programme will be skilful at working with executives and teams, coaching all aspects of the business process, and comfortable with complex systemic issues. They will work easily within culturally diverse business environments and understand how to coach organisations toward creating both sustainable cultures and results.

Certification
Participants who fulfil the criterion of full attendance will receive a certificate of completion of the MBCP learning programme. The 30-day programme does not include an examination of students’ attainment, but following the completion of the programme a certification process will be made available to students who choose to be assessed.
