I'm Colin. I'm imagining these weekends as a place for you to come and learn about yourself, your work and your life.

On this programme I see myself as offering to be a combination of an analyst and a coach. We'll agree what you want from your time, and clarify my role; I might be someone who works with you on your 'stuff', or I might be someone who coaches you through an issue connected with your career, or I might be someone who introduces you to psychological theories which we discuss and you then apply to the situation you brought to the conversation. I think there is a value in all of these, and we will decide which is the most useful approach.

People tell me I am both direct and subtle. I believe in sharing, and so you'll hear my responses to what you're saying. These might be more supportive, or more challenging. I have good access to both my rational side and to my intuitive side, and can often link the two.  Whatever I say, it will be carefully worded. I know of myself that I don't like wasting time or resources, and the latter include our lives. I see my role as being a partner who invites you to think deeply about how you are being in your world, and how you can feel increasingly at home in your life (or the newer version of your life that you want to make). In my book, fulfilment is a good thing. I hope to do for you what you do for others.

I can draw on a wide background which stretches from formal Transactional Analysis, through Positive Psychology to counselling and to shamanic practices. I have a strong interest in practices such as objectless awareness, and Reiki, believe that the universe is intelligent and that this intelligence is available to us, and that change can be planned and intentional. Energy flows where thought goes.
